Polybetanmath
These photos were taken after session 2. This is the customers first tattoo. He wanted it to be different. I tried. We have a good layout, but a lot of this wasn't planed out. There was a lot of improvised drawing on the skin. Thankfully my customer was trusting and we collaborated on the concept and the Drawings that came out of.
It's been fun designing this.
There are many influences that led to the details you see. The background is very similar in look to Polynesian designs, yet the layout I went with a Japanese form. (It is the strongest). The flowers started from lotus pieces in Tibetan designs all the way to the round flower that you see so often in traditional style tattooing. The basic round math flower has evolved.
I will post again when there is more progress. Thanks for reading.

Chest add-on
Tattoo by Jeremy Riley.
Patchen showed up in town, and a skull and roses happened. Always available for that. Gypsy from over a year ago, just touched up the eye.

New addition to King Bender
Added to a couple of my favorite tattoos on my good friend Eben. We started his chest piece and got a good start. The eagle, BC shield and arrows took 3 + 1/4 hrs to get a good start to a nice front. We will be adding to the chest to fill it out more, and that should be it.

Add Ons. #tattoounion
Added a new girl, (thanks to an Owen Jensen combo), and a rose to end the sleeve. Thanks Chris for the freedom with this one.

Because it looks good ...
While a lot of people tend to get hung up on meaning and sentimentality Camille got tattooed for what is more than likely the most honest reason out there, "because it looks good". Thanks Camille.

Bootknife gets it.
This was fun. Face drawn by Allison Riley. Design originally from around the 1920's. Rope details were freehand.

A delayed attempt at an update
Just testing if this works. I had two computers crash, and I am attempting to update using my cellphone. I have been updating mostly via @rileytown on Instagram.

Favorite
This customer goes by the name 'Big Mark'.
His first tattoo was last winter, it was the devil head.
He then went on to get some seriously cool tattoos.
He is my favorite.
Walk-ins more than welcome.
